The Catholic Church Health Services (CCHS) Kerema is inviting applications from suitably
qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions:



1. DIOCESAN HEALTH MANAGER

This critical role involves overseeing the operations of CCHS Kerema, ensuring effective
health service delivery across the diocese.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee health program implementation alignment with diocesan and national policies
- Conduct supervisory visits to remote areas of Kerema to ensure effective health
  service delivery
- Collaborate with external partners and community leaders to identify health needs
  and develop appropriate strategies for health services within Kerema
- Provide training and support to health staff and volunteers
- Monitor and evaluate health facilities and programs for quality compliance

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Management, Nursing, or a related field
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in health management, planning, coordinating and
  implementing health programs
- Skills in supervision, staff support and improving health services in community
  and remote settings (preferred)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

2. FINANCE OFFICER

This important role is responsible for supporting the financial operations of CCHS Kerema,
including financial management, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with
organizational policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  for health operations within CCHS Kerema
- Develop and prepare project proposals to secure funding support from donors and
  stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Health Manager to ensure financial resources are allocated
  effectively to meet financial needs

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial policies, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and professional integrity
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team

3. HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

The HR Officer will support the effective management of HR functions, including recruitment,
employee relations, performance management, staff records, and HR administration, while
ensuring compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records at the diocese level
- Provide support and guidance to staff on HR-related matters
- Collaborate with the National CCHS to ensure timely reporting of HR matters
- Support payroll administration, leave management, and employee contract administration

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated experience managing key HR functions, including recruitment,
  employee relations, performance management, and staff development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities



4. MONITORING & EVALUATION (M&E) / HEALTH PROMOTION OFFICER


The successful candidate will support health program implementation through monitoring,
evaluation, reporting and health promotion activities, while ensuring compliance with
organizational and national health standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for health promotion
  initiatives at the Diocese
- Collect, analyze, and interpret health data to assess program effectiveness and
  inform decision-making
- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and
  outcomes for stakeholders
- Facilitate training sessions for staff

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years' relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, health
  promotion, or a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluating health programs, including
  data collection, analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring
- Knowledge of health promotion strategies and community health initiatives
- Ability to prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and use data to support
  program planning and decision-making
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
