Air Niugini Hiring Clinic Nurse in Port Moresby

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Air Niugini is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinic Nurse to manage and operate its in-house Airline Clinic in Port Moresby.

The successful applicant will provide professional and confidential healthcare services to Air Niugini staff while overseeing daily clinic operations and coordinating with hospitals and medical specialists when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals when necessary.
• Conduct pre-employment medical checks according to company policy.
• Process and manage MEDA (Medical Case) approvals for international travel.
• Liaise with hospitals and diagnostic centres for medical reports, blood tests, and X-rays.
• Issue medical certificates and sick leave documentation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Manage daily clinic operations professionally and efficiently.
• Promote employee health and wellbeing across the organisation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• Minimum five years experience working as a Registered Nurse in a clinic or similar healthcare environment.
• Ability to work independently and make sound medical decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical and professional standards.
