Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Papua New Guineans for the role of Compliance Officer within its Risk & Compliance Department, based at the NSL Head Office in Port Moresby.
Reporting to the Manager Compliance, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Fund operates in full compliance with the Superannuation (General Provisions) Act, Prudential Standards, internal policies, and all relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and standards
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Identify and assess compliance risks across business operations
- Conduct compliance reviews, audits, and spot checks
- Assist in investigations relating to policy breaches, misconduct, and conflicts of interest
- Provide advice to senior management on compliance risks and mitigation strategies
- Deliver staff training and awareness on compliance matters
- Promote a strong compliance culture across the organisation
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to stakeholders
- Maintain effective working relationships across departments
- Perform additional compliance-related duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Business, Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CCEP-I, CAMS, CIA, or CFE will be an advantage
- 3–5 years’ experience in compliance, audit, or legal roles (preferably in the financial/superannuation sector)
- Strong knowledge of PNG superannuation laws and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be willing to live and work in Port Moresby
