ICT Project Engineer – Tabubil Engineering Limited (PNG)

Tabubil Engineering Limited, a major contractor to Ok Tedi Mining Limited in Western Province, Papua New Guinea, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of ICT Project Engineer.

The successful candidate will deliver ICT infrastructure and technology projects that support operational efficiency, safety, and innovation across project and operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage ICT projects from initiation to completion.
• Oversee deployment of ICT systems including networks, servers, communications and security solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure all ICT systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support during design, implementation and troubleshooting stages.
• Maintain project documentation including scope, schedules, budgets and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in ICT project engineering or similar role.
• Proven experience in ICT infrastructure projects, preferably within mining or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of networking, server architecture and cloud technologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in remote or challenging environments.
