ICT Job: Data Analyst

NASFUND Contributors Savings & Loan Society Ltd (NCSL), the largest Savings and Loan Society in Papua New Guinea, is on an exciting transformation journey to strengthen its services and future readiness. We are now seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team and support business growth through data-driven insights.



Position: Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and analyse financial data to assess portfolio performance and credit risk
  • Develop and maintain credit scoring models to evaluate borrower creditworthiness
  • Track and report portfolio trends, identifying areas for improvement
  • Work closely with risk management and business teams to support credit decisions
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements


Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit risk modelling or data analysis in a similar environment
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in data analysis or credit risk within a banking or finance institution
  • Diploma qualification in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
