Position Overview
The ICT Manager (Software) will be responsible for supervising the technical support team, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues, and maintaining high service standards. The role also involves improving team efficiency, strengthening customer satisfaction, and managing ICT support operations and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the technical support team to ensure effective service delivery
- Handle and resolve customer technical issues in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge resources
- Train, mentor, and support staff to enhance troubleshooting skills
- Monitor team performance and customer satisfaction targets
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve complex ICT matters
- Manage help desk tickets, task prioritisation, and issue escalation
- Establish and implement standard operating procedures for technical support
- Oversee ICT project timelines including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in technical support, including leadership experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems and CRM software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s licence with practical driving skills
- Proven team leadership and personnel management background
- Willingness to train staff and transfer technical knowledge
